Cookies Policy

What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites can store on your device to remember information between visits. Related browser storage technologies, such as local storage, work similarly but are technically distinct from cookies.
Do we use cookies
Yes, two services set cookies on this site:
- Microsoft Clarity, to understand how the site is used and improve it. It may record which pages are visited and how the page is used.
- Google AdSense, which shows the ads that keep the site free. It may set cookies to measure ads and to choose which ones you see.
The site also uses browser local storage to remember your counters and preferences (such as dark or light mode) between visits. That storage is used only to make the tool work, is considered strictly necessary, and is not used to track you across other websites. Your counter values stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Advertising and analytics
Microsoft Clarity and Google AdSense are described above, and each is governed by that company's own cookie and privacy policy. You can also control what Google shows you through your Google Ad Settings.
Simple Online Counter does not set cookies of its own and does not collect your data. The cookies described above belong to those two services. You can block or clear them in your browser settings as described below, and the counters will keep working either way.
How to control storage
You can clear local storage at any time through your browser's settings, which will remove your saved counters. Most browsers also let you block local storage entirely, though this will prevent Simple Online Counter from saving your counters between visits.
